Once again, TYHA is excited to offer a free program for new hockey players.  Six, one-hour sessions of on-ice instruction, all necessary protective equipment, and rental skates will be provided at no charge.  Players need to provide their own hockey stick.  Practice jersey and hockey socks will not be provided; it is recommended, but is not mandatory for participation.  Items can be purchased at the Pro Shop inside the Oilers Ice Center. 

This offer is available to youth, 4 to 8 years old, and have never played hockey with TYHA previously.  Based on the number of equipment sets available, enrollment is limited to twenty participants, age 4 to 6; and twenty participants, age 6 to 8.  A $75 equipment deposit and $25 non-refundable sanitizing fee will be required to reserve your spot.  Upon conclusion of the program, all equipment pieces must be returned in good condition in order to receive equipment deposit refund. 

Sessions begin on Saturday, July 11, 2009, 4:15-5:15pm and will continue every Saturday through August 15, 2009. Our goal is to fill 40 sets of equipment with new players.  How can you help us to attain that goal?  By making copies of the registration form that is attached below and distribute anywhere it will reach young, potential players.
